Our latest project was a kids bedroom design where the client wanted a customized interior that could fit two beds, cupboards, and storage — all inside a very compact room. This project, completed by Naqshawala / Nakshay / Naqsha Design Studio, focused on smart planning, custom furniture, and efficient space use to make the small room both beautiful and practical. 🧸 The Challenge: Limited Space, Maximum Function The main challenge was limited space. The bedroom was small, but it needed to have: Two separate beds for kids Cupboards and storage cabinets Enough open space to move freely A playful yet modern look The client wanted everything custom-built and tailor-made, not standard ready-made furniture. This meant we had to design everything — from bed size to storage placement — according to exact measurements. 🪚 The Custom Solution by Naqshaywala At Naqshawala, we worked with expert furniture craftsmen and interior designers from Naksha Design Studio to create fully customized furniture. Each element was designed in custom dimensions to perfectly fit the small space. We used the concept of built-in cupboards and overhead cabinets above the beds, which allowed us to double the storage without taking extra floor area. The beds were designed with storage drawers inside, making the room clutter-free and easy to maintain. The final layout gave the kids enough sleeping area, study space, and storage — all in one smart design. 🎨 The Design Look and Feel The interior style was kept modern and minimal with soft color tones suitable for a kids room. We made sure the lighting felt warm and comfortable — creating a cozy space that encourages both study and relaxation.
